We are about a month away from our 10-year anniversary as a church fellowship, which we’ll be celebrating on January 3, 2021 at the Chapel in west Mobile.

Please mark your calendar to attend or if it looks like you may not be able to attend, please consider sending us a note to be read on that day to your friends and family at CrossHope Chapel.

In some ways it doesn’t seem like we are at this decade long milestone, but what warms my heart more than anything is the absolute joy and honor I have had to serve as your pastor.

Every soul that has crossed our fellowship path in these last 10-years is still held close to my heart in prayer and thoughts, even though for some life has changed our once paralleled paths.

I want to be careful how I say this, but… in recent weeks and knowing that we are approaching our 10-year anniversary, I have glanced across our Chapel and I am reminded that in these 10-years together with have aged, we have watched our children grow, we have said Goodbye to loved ones, we have clung to prayer for one other’s healing, we have witnessed shocking cultural changes, and we are approaching the return of our Lord and Savior, together!

We want to celebrate this on January 3, 2021 as we gather that first Sunday of the new year and give all glory to our Lord for these past 10-years, together.

We will enjoy a Sunday morning together in gratefulness and fellowship. We will have a partially catered potluck that day, we are still working out the details but we trying to plan so the majority do not have to worry about bringing anything, but just come and enjoy.

Two Questions

I also want to pose two questions to our fellowship, for your consideration between now and then, that I would like to report on at our January 3rd 10-year anniversary celebration, and those two questions are:

1. What have you appreciated most about your church fellowship during this past decade or for as long as you have attended?
2. What, if anything, would you like to see our church fellowship emphasize or include or be more intentional about going into its next decade?
