Last night at Midweek Fellowship we looked at Psalm 37, and this verse stood out for me…

“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24 (ESV)

Don’t equate failure in Christian life with losing your salvation because you didn’t earn it in the first place. When you were a toddler learning to walk, a fall didn’t get you kicked out of the family. You may fall flat on your face, but just don’t stay there. Get up and grow forward. Stay in fellowship with your Lord Jesus and others who are also seeking to live a life in the grace of Christ, just remember that the next time you are down look up to your Savior and He will lend you His hand.

This Sunday we’ll look at 2 Thessalonians 1:1-2:12. And, we may need to discuss how we want to handle our May potluck and Mothers Day.
