What does the Bible say about the issue of climate change and global warming, of man destroying the seasons and the earth?

In Genesis 8:22 the Creator of the climate says, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease” (ESV).

Ignore the environmental worshipers – those who fear creation more than the God who created it – because the Creator of the climate says the seasons will not cease. Our God is the Creator of the earth and all that is seen and unseen, all that is good and for our good. Satan can create nothing but lies and while he does seek to confuse us through convincing voices, take heart that God’s word is certain and sure.

Let’s take care of the environment, but let’s not get sucked into the doomsday hyperbole of the biblically ignorant. Let’s pray today that we may trust in the word of God and not fall into a fear for our planet or future.
