July 1

We take nothing with us into Heaven, but a character developed in Christ-likeness. A character cultivated to love others, to stand firm against evil, and strong to bear adversity is fit for eternity.

July 2

Satan has brought sorrow, pain, and worries to our world, but the Lord uses these things to test our faith in Him. Trials strengthen our trust in God, and that must be settled before we get to Heaven.

July 3

Without the Bible to guide our mind, it is easy to allow our feelings to dictate our beliefs, but no one will be saved because they feel like it. Salvation is ours not by feeling but by faith.

July 4

When the Lord returns, those who are in harmony with Him will remain in harmony with Him. Those who have rejected Him will remain in rejection of Him. This is why today is the day of salvation.

July 5

We do not qualify for heaven when we have obtained a godlike perfection. We become fitted for heaven when we learn to depend on the grace of Jesus Christ despite our sinful nature.

July 6

We have a sinful nature until mortality puts on immorality at the resurrection. Until then, we live by faith and obedience to God’s Word. We live according to our new nature in Christ Jesus.

July 7

Seasons of persecution call for a faith that will not falter. The God of Creation must remain our only object of worship, Him who made Heaven and Earth, can not be dismissed by man’s edicts.

July 8

Satan numbers all of us as his subjects because of Adam and Eve, but God numbers us as His. Though we are guilty of sinning, we have not relinquished our hold on the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

July 9

We need a greater earnestness in prayer and study of Scripture. Without a steadfast communion with God, our odds against overcoming trials or even discerning apostasy are slim.

July 10

The message for all is repent for the Kingdom of God is near. No attitude of hatred by any class of people, as oppressor or oppressed, is exempt from its need of repentance at Calvary.

July 11

Like Cain, who rejected obedience to God, yet was marked for earthly safety, so those who reject God’s seal of the Spirit will be marked for earthly safety to buy and sell, but their end will be as Able’s.

July 12

The parade of immorality will likely become more intense as we approach the day of the Lord. Now is the time to teach our children that not all in the public view is normal and true.

July 13

The events of these last days are challenging us to know what we believe. A sifting of faith is occurring in the church pews, separating complacent church members from genuine disciples of Christ.

July 14

Don’t be fooled by the detractors who argue that many denominations mean the church is fractured. In the end, a faithful remnant will emerge as a united church when Jesus returns.

July 15

Professed revelations from heaven contradicting the testimony of Scripture are not from God. What has been written has been written because God has no afterthought or changes to His word.

July 16

We do not need to be deceived. God’s people will find their safety in the days of confusion only as they stand firm upon the living Word. Our response to all things questionable should be It is Written.

July 17

Miracles and unexplainable phenomenons may be pointed to as evidence of God’s work, but it could be Satan’s counterfeit work. Be a student of Bible prophecy and don’t fall for the coming deception.

July 18

We will meet Jesus in the air, after the resurrection, so when stories of the lying angel of light being received as the returning Lord, don’t believe what you see on television or social media.

July 19

Our faith must be firmly planted on Scripture, especially a knowledge of end-time events. The enemy will convincingly work signs and wonders but he can not fool the one who knows his schemes.

July 20

When Christ appears, it will be with great power, accompanied by thousands of angels, with shout and trumpet. His glory will silence the foes of His followers and they will know they fell for a lie.

July 21

Like he who dared to harass the Creator in the wilderness, those who do his bidding overplay their hand. They are drunk on self-exultation but the sobering truth is on the side of reality.

July 22

Satan looks for the unopened Bible of those who profess to be shepherds of God’s flock that he may lure them into championing social causes, anything but the teaching of God’s Word.

July 23

The trying circumstances of life help us gather strength for our future. With a list of remembrance testifying to the Lord’s goodness in our past, the trials of tomorrow become easier to face.

July 24

Our obedience to truth helps us discipline our soul in faithfulness to our God. Like blocks upon blocks, each stand we take builds a foundation upon the safety and solid rock of God’s Word.

July 25

The precious privilege of God’s light in the calm days must be cherished in our hearts and minds so when the storms come rushing into our lives, we will have a well of hope to draw from.

July 26

The events of these last days are challenging us to know what we believe. A sifting of faith is occurring in the church pews, separating complacent church members from genuine disciples of Christ.

July 27

If we could pull back the curtain of the unseen we would be shocked to see evil angels crowded around those gathered in the name of Jesus, but relieved to see holy angels keeping them in check.

July 28

The habit of sin will drag us down until we recognize it as deadly. Then we can give it to Jesus in faith, accept His gift of life, believe that we have died to that sin, and prayerfully live accordingly.

July 29

There is equality in Calvary. Every sin, every man, all can find forgiveness in the outstretched arms at the cross of Christ. Whatever your guilt, carry for the last time to Calvary.

July 30

The straight testimony of Scripture is the need of this hour. There is no power in worldly philosophy, cultural appeals, motivational quips, there is only God’s Word shining the light on God’s Son.

July 31

No one in the Christian faith suddenly falls off the deep end. It is small increments of turning from Christ and embracing self, unnoticed to all, that bring about a headlong fall into sin.
