Sweet, Sweet, Spirit
This morning was a great time together in prayer, worship, and God’s Word. I enjoy every week when we gather together, but this morning was just a sweet time of fellowship.
There was a song that came to my mind too, called, “Sweet, Sweet, Spirit.” If you don’t recognize that song, it’s one that goes, “There’s a sweet, sweet Spirit in this place, And I know that it’s the Spirit of the Lord…”
Maybe this coming Sunday we’ll add that to our Praise Chorus repertoire.
Right now I simply want to thank you for being part of our fellowship and making it a family of God. When I think of our simple church I often think of the word authentic, because that really is how we seem together – real, no pretense, no one-upping anybody, just authentic family.
I do appreciate you and am so grateful for your contribution to our church community with your presence, giving us opportunity to pray for your needs, and blessing us when you sharing in our Bible teaching discussions.
So to you, I say thank you. It is such a joy and honor to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord, with you all.
