Be A Good Finder

If you a complainer or one who criticizes easily or consistently, stop because you too will soon be unable to live with yourself. Life is already too hard to unnecessarily add to your reasons to find the negatives in your day. Instead, become a good finder. Find the good in the situation and talk about that.

Breathe In, Breathe Out

If your visit turns out to be difficult because the family is angry or maybe the patient is having a difficult death or you’ve become attached to everybody because you’ve been visiting so long, you can breathe and be reminded that you are still breathing. Breathe in, breathe out, and move on.
