There is a verse in Psalms that comes to my mind today, it is Psalm 47:8 which says, “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.” If you look up Psalm 47:8 in the ESV it uses the word “nations” instead of “heathens” but in the Psalmist’s day there was no difference.
