Sometimes life has a way of making us feel alone, ignored, or unrecognized. You could be a stay at home mom, you could be a professional that spends your day in an office by yourself, or you could be an employee whose achievements are never acknowledged by your employer. You could be anyone working at anything but not being affirmed and left feeling unseen isn’t exactly motivating.

Feeling unseen often leads us to ask questions like, Why should I care if no one else cares? or What is the purpose behind this if no one else even knows? or If what I’m doing doesn’t matter to anyone why should I not abandon this for something new? The truth is, we may not always be seen by others, but we are always seen by God. In fact, whatever our hands find to do, we can do it with all our heart, might, and soul because God cares, knows, and sees.

This week, remind yourself that your labor is always seen and appreciated by God.
